A full day conference given by some of our Symposium faculty members will be held to inform the interested general public. Please assist us by inviting your patients and others who may be interested in learning more about the impact of living with BRCA1/2.

Goals of the Lay Conference:

  • To provide the most current information about cancer risks, surveillance, and risk reduction options for BRCA1 and BRCA2 carriers;
  • To assist individuals with communicating high-risk status to their family members;
  • To discuss the management of surgical menopause in the young patient;
  • To offer gene carriers and their families the opportunity to address HBOC experts working in both clinical and research fields;
  • To provide a forum to network and share experiences with others living with BRCA.
